The essential free printable period tracker

Whether you want to make a baby or you want to NOT make baby, tracking your cycles is one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself.

Usually, period trackers will track simple things like:

  • How many days were you bleeding
  • What kind of bleeding you had (color, flow)
  • Any pre-menstrual symptoms
  • Total length of cycle

…and sure, this is certainly useful information, but it’s only scratching the surface of how you can use your cycles to your advantage.

This is why I’ve created a holistic cycle tracker that I have been using daily for years.

This free download is more than a period tracker; it will help you unlock that next-level you that you’re looking for.

Here’s how it works:

1. Understand the 4 phases of your cycle

Using this cycle tracker will not only track when you are bleeding or not, it helps you uncover when you are in each of the four phases of your menstrual cycle.

2. Understand your fertility

By tracking your changes in cervical mucus (along with your physical, emotional, and energetic needs), you will have a clear idea of when your are fertile (ovulating) or not. This is important information if you want to get pregnant, or DON’T want to get pregnant!

3. Understand your physical needs & changes

By recording any physical symptoms you are having daily (like headaches, constipation, cramps, acne, etc.) you might uncover useful patterns that can help you get to the root cause of your symptoms. Additionally, you will also be recording why type of movement you did each day (and it’s ok if it’s nothing!), and how it made you feel. This will help you discover what types of movement work best for your body at different times of your cycle. So valuable!

4. Understand your emotional needs & changes

Every evening, the cycle tracker asks you to record your emotions each evening. For some of us (me!), this exercise can start out feeling really difficult. It’s so easy to go through the motions then make it to the end of the day and not really notice how you were truly feeling that day. Unless, of course, it was one of those days (IYKYK, right?). By checking in with yourself every night, it will not only help you stay more present throughout the day, but it may also uncover some typical emotional patterns you have throughout your cycle. Understanding this, not using it as an excuse, is so empowering.

5. Understand your energetic needs & changes

By tracking your energy morning and evening, as well as tracking what time(s) of day you felt your best, you will start to get a feel for how your energy changes throughout your cycle. This can be incredibly valuable when scheduling work, family, or other responsibilities.

6. Understand how your cycle affects your sleep

Sleep – so incredibly important, but sometimes hard to prioritize or optimize when you’re a mama. There are of course many factors when it comes to getting a restful night’s sleep, but a good place to start is simply tracking your sleep. You may notice patterns with your cycle, or you may simply notice other factors in your life that affect your sleep.

7. Understand how your cycles play off the natural cycles of the moon

We are all part of nature, although this is easy to forget in the modern world. It wasn’t that long ago, however, that humans were living much more in sync with the natural cycles of the seasons and the moon. The moon affects entire oceans, and it certainly affects us when we start paying attention. It can be really interesting to start understanding how the different phases of your cycle play off the different phases of the moon.

By checking in with yourself morning & night and recording it in this free holistic cycle tracker, you will quickly develop a deep connection to your body and understanding of how you can better care for yourself and others day after day.

Whether you want to balance your hormones, get pregnant, NOT get pregnant, lose weight, or have more energy, this free holistic cycle tracker is the ultimate place to get started.
